Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)

MediGain also provides Business Process Outsourcing, or BPO, services that includes the following:

• Bill Coding
• Patient Record Transcription
• Healthcare Back-Office Staffing and Consulting Services

We provide both physician and hospital coding services. With respect to physician based coding, we provide Evaluation and Management (E&M), inpatient and outpatient coding services. With respect to hospital based coding, we provide inpatient, outpatient surgery, emergency room and outpatient ancillary coding services. The highly educated, process oriented nature of the Sri Lankan labor force, and ability for MediGain to apply more resources for lower costs at these projects than a US operation, enables lower costs and higher quality output.

MediGain processors undergo Certified Medical Coding certification classes. While these courses are not required in the industry, they set our agent pool apart in terms of training and industry knowledge from 90%+ of US in-house and outsourced operations.

Additionally, MediGain's staff of highly trained and experienced healthcare managers and consultants can look at and analyze a healthcare providers back-office staffing, process flows, systems, error rates, break-downs and provide recommendations that either MediGain can assist with or help you plan on tackling these issues on your own.
